Let me acquaint you with my newest love.  I recently had the distinct privilege to be the personal groomer for Tom Filicia, host of “Dress My Nest”, and one of the Fab Five from the Bravo hit “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”.  Tom was in Atlanta promoting his new book “Style”, and to attend the Grand Opening Party for the Buckhead W Hotel of which he did the interior designs. 

Tom and I hit it off right away because we both approach our interior spaces as we do fashion.  For those of you who find yourselves stuck-in-a-rut when it comes to your home space, I implore you to pick up his book.  Tom’s interior style is fresh and organic.  He utilizes great deals of natural materials in his designs such as unfinished woods, nubby textures, and earthy colors that melt into each other. 

The W party was grand indeed, and many of our Atlanta socialites stepped up to the plate with their fashions.  The women were in real cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen wore sport coats that ranged from rich velvet to patchwork satin.  The staff wore all black, as do all W employees, but it was the amazing interiors that stole the show.  I of course, wore hot pink!
