By far the busiest salon in Atlanta, Van Michael Salon Buckhead is our flagship location with over 8000 square feet and over 130 employees all dedicated to making you beautiful. Featuring 30 foot ceilings, a full Aveda Lifestyle store, six makeup stations, and three separate shampoo rooms with massaging chairs and relaxing music set away from the bustling salon floor. Van Michael Buckhead is open seven days a week to accommodate all your beauty needs.

Education is the key to success in all aspects of life including in the salon. Van Michael Salon service providers have all undergone at the very least two years of training to learn how to provide cut and color services to the Van Michael standards before working on the Van Michael floor. This training is in addition to any other training they may have received in the past.

Harry Wood IV is a leading stylist and educator for Van Michael Salons in Atlanta, Georgia. He makes frequent national TV appearances, having appeared on CBS, Fox, Bravo, The Learning Channel and “Atlanta’s Biggest Loser.”

Currently, Harry is touring the United States to promote his brand, “Six Figure Hairdresser.” Harry’s materials offer practical steps for stylists to take their business to the next level. Although his target audience is stylists, his formula works for anyone in the beauty industry.

A hairstylist since 1992, Brandon Darragh has been employed with Van Michael Salon during his entire career. Brandon has been the Artistic Director for Van Michael Salon and played a key role in creating the extensive Van Michael training systems. Outside of Van Michael Salon, Brandon also helped to create the curriculum behind the Aveda Masters Series and created recent Aveda collaetions. Brandon travels around the country as a Van Michael representative giving hands on workshops for other salons. Brandon is also an integral part of the Van Michael Show Team. His innovative techniques and unique style have allowed him to help create the trends relevant each season.
