The client coordinator position is essentially the customer service representatives that comprise our front desk staff. Within the client coordinator position are three different stations: the greeter, phone operator and point of sale.
Qualifications for this position are as follows: High school diploma, computer skills, customer service background, detail oriented, good communication skills, polished appearance, exceptional phone skills and full time availability.
Salary is based on each individual applicants experience.
(schedule is generally Tuesday - Saturday)

Assistant: |

The assistant position at Van Michael Salon is for recent licensed graduates of cosmetology school. The position is for those interested in pursuing a career in the hair industry. Assistants are required to attend advanced training on Mondays and work Tuesday through Saturday in the salon as either a general assistant or as a personal assistant to a senior stylist or colorist in the company.
Qualifications are as follows: Cosmetology license, high school diploma or GED, customer service background, salon experience is a plus, good communication skills, polished appearance and full time availability.
Salary is $250 a week plus tips.

New Talent stylist/colorist: |

New Talent stylist/colorist are all licensed cosmetologist that work in one of our New Talent Salon. New Talent employees still attend advanced training on Mondays and work a possible schedule of Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday. The New Talent workweek is approximately 36 to 40 hours (excluding class).Salary is based on level of skill and booking time for services.
Qualifications are as follows: Current Georgia Cosmetology license, 1 to 2 year salon experience on the floor, excellent communication skills, polished appearance, customer service background and full time availability.

Van Michael stylist/colorist are all senior staff members performing services on the Van Michael floor. The Van Michael schedule is Tuesday through Saturday and employees have the potential to earn $30,000 to $40,000 during their first full year on the Van Michael floor.
Qualifications are as follows: Current Georgia cosmetology license, minimum 5 years salon experience on the floor, excellent communication skills, polished experience, customer service background and full time availability.

Make-up Artist/Aveda Lifestylist: |

Van Michael make-up artists are licensed estheticians that perform facial waxing services, makeover services and complimentary touch ups for Van Michael clients. Van Michael make-up artist schedule is Tuesday through Saturday and salary is based upon percentage of services performed and percentage of retail sales.
Qualifications are as follows: Current Georgia esthetician license, minimum 3 to 5 years salon or spa experience, polished appearance, excellent communication skills, customer service background and full time availability.
Van Michael Aveda Lifestylists position is someone who is dedicated to educating the client on Aveda products, driving retail sales and merchandising in the salon. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday and position is salaried with potential monthly bonuses.
Qualifications are as follows: 2 year Associates Degree, minimum 3 to 5 years retail experience, retail management experience a plus, polished appearance, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, knowledge of Aveda product line a plus and full time availability.
