Highly recommend this place. I see Cassidy for my hair color. She's amazing with redheads, which is extremely hard to find in a stylist. I see Samantha for haircuts and she does wonders with my unruly hair. They are both fantastic. So grateful to have found them.
Ashlyn, Trey, & Shantel were very nice and welcoming to me and had an easy understanding of what I wanted and who to best go for in the store for it. Very heart warming energy with a quick and simple professional process with lots of care. Great place to go if you’re serious about your hair and these 3 perfectly emulate that professionalism. I hope they can gain bigger roles so they can role model to others at the salon. ❤️ I just got done with Yanna and she’s amazing extremely skilled and is a walking library when it comes to hair even on impossible tasks with my before and after. This has been my second time at Van Michael salon and it was just as wonderful as the first time. My hair artist, Jared, was super attentive, easy to talk to, listened to what I wanted, offered great hair ideas, and made sure to make me feel comfortable. Jared did such a fantastic job on my new cherry colored hair. I just recently moved to Atlanta and It has been a few years since I have gotten my hair colored. I was nervous to get my hair colored by an artist I was unfamiliar with because I can be VERY particular with my hair, but I am so glad I took the leap and booked with Jared!!! Thank you Van Micheal Salon for the wonderful service!

I have been to quite a few salons around the Atlanta area and have finally found THE ONE! It is a large salon but very clean and everyone is extremely friendly. My favorite part is the quiet hair washing room. You get a Hot towel and head massage with your quiet hair wash, could you ask for more? I’m so happy to have found this salon and have made it my regular!

First time going to this salon and really enjoyed my experience. Christine did my cut and style and really listened to what I wanted and made suggestions based on what I was showing her from my Pinterest board. My only complaint is that the shampoo bowl was not as great as my last salon. I am used to receiving a slight head and neck massage when at the shampoo bowl. I think they just have such a high volume of customers they want to push people in and out quickly. Will definitely return to Christine for cuts.

Rob Cook is the absolute best there is in the industry! I have followed him from Va Highlands, to Midtown to now Buckhead. Rob really listens to what you want and discusses each and every cut with you. I'm very particular when it comes to my hair....I've been going to Rob for over 20 years! He is the best in Van Michael Salon, no matter what part of town!! You always walk out looking great!
I've been going to the salon for a couple of years now and it's my favorite place to treat myself. Everyone is so warm and welcome and they make you feel special. Cooper is the best colorist I've ever had. He knows exactly what you need when you're explaining a certain type of color you trying to achieve. He really makes you feel comfortable and he's such a doll!!!I love that Van Michaels includes the blow dry with your color, not many places do that. I think their prices are pretty standard for a higher end salon, and it's worth every penny. Shari

I have been going there for over 13 years. It’s clean, people are professional and pleasant. It is on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for I guess. If there is ever a problem the manager is so good at being responsive and getting it fixed. I would recommend them for sure.
